Maui y los sirnidos have new album. Problemologa is the title of the third recording work of this elegant and picturesque group leader by Maui Ramrez and her band sirnido, full of song which shows the most interesting side of problems, to laugh at them and to obviate the unavoidable. To teach us that live without frights could be bored and that difficulties are the salt of life.

After two excellent albums, Flamenco Sumergido (2005) and Un ratito ms (2008) (UFI award to the best flamenco album), Maui step forward without lose her fresh and flamenco drama, one jump to maturity keeping her knowledge with optimistic lyrics that grow up in a musician travel, in which her particular flamenco rhythm comes handed with other music like bolero, jazz, guaguanc, blues even ska, supported by her inseparable Sirnidos who invests wisdom and musical elegance.

This album is dedicated to Mario Pacheco (Nuevos Medios, Madrid) who believed and worked hard in this project.
Maui comes from Utrera; a town with a large flamenco tradition, but she felt interested in learns other musical styles. After take part in different projects, Maui reached Granada where started the Maui y los Sirnidos adventure.

In 2005 published Flamenco Sumergido, her first album which is known internationality thanks to the single videoclip Para no pensar en nada, best musical video in Womex 2006 by the american television Link TV. With this video they became Cuatro TV image the same year and for Puro Cuatro program in 2010.

Their second album Un ratito ms (2008), best flamenco album of Independent Music UFI awards in 2009, has open lots festivals doors to the group. In 2011 they published a DVD Directamente; its a live concert in the Galileo Galilei club with a special selection of their best songs with the collaboration of some friends and guests like Jorge Pardo, Diego Guerrero or Toms Perrate.
