OL SKOOL RODS: Davis can belt out a sultry
sadness or rage that leaves one’s soul black and bluesy. ...smooth as glass & just as sharp...wet, breathless vocals flowing with a hungry, lascivious energy.
Recently featured on the cover of the Burbank Reader's Marquee Section, we booked Viva Las Vegas after only being a band for 7 months! We've been playing to audiences of thousands at the 24-Hour Lindy Hop for Hope Cancer Danceathon in Orange County, the West Coast BBQ Classic as well as July 4th on the Queen Mary (booked through William Morris/Endeavor Agency) and the Arthritis Walk on the Santa Monica Pier, with special guest Douglas "The Crooner" Roegiers from Phat Cat Swinger. Our guitarist is Phat Cat's Eitaro Sako (also from Lil Mo & the Dynaflos). We currently have a residency in Queen Mary Observation Bar every Saturday night through October 6, 2013.
We often perform with THE HOLLYWOOD HOTSHOTS who Swing dance & Lindy Hop – they have been featured in Gloria Estefan’s “Hotel Nacional” and Foster the People’s “Houdini” videos as well as Budweiser commercials.
