HISTORY
Under the leadership of rising superstar and 2009 Finalist off Season II Show "BET's Sunday Best," Maurice Griffin, MGMinistries began to take steps towards greatness in Fall 2005 in the mecca of Gospel Music, Chicago, IL. Gaining the recognition in the city of Chicago put MGM on the map. Griffin states "MGM is nothing more than a group of ppl better known as A Fresh Wind In The City."

This dynamic Chicago-based worship leader has a group of singers and a 3 piece band that are definitely atmosphere changers. Griffin musical influences are: Michael Jackson’s energy, Whitney Houston’s stage presence, Daryl Coley’s anointed gift in singing and ministering. MGMinistries has a sound mixture of Donnie Mcclurkin, Fred Hammond, Marvin Sapp, Smokie Norful, Micah Stampley, William Murphy, and Myron Williams all in ONE.

MGMinistries has been in existence since 2005. In 2006 MGMinistries recorded a Maxi-Single entitled "A New Creature" and selling over 2,000 in 2006. 2007 MGMinistries recorded LIVE in Chicago, IL and has created a buzz in the city for their solid harmony and awesome ministry in song. 2008-2009 MGMinistries sold over 10,000 units in promotional product in preparation for 2010 Release.

2010 is the winning year as their Single "My Heavenly Father" soars across the country to Radio Stations. “My Heavenly Father - Single”, deemed a electrifying psalm of worship, mixed with unadulterated praise which is sure to capture, enlighten, and transform listeners to their next level of praise and worship.
