Lively, interactive music that makes kids wanna get up and dance. Though grown-ups will appreciate the educational aspects of the performance, they’ll find themselves unable to resist clapping along to the beat. It’s great entertainment for the entire family.

Uno, Dos, Tres, ¡Todos a Cantar! was a perfect show for our elementary. Mauricio's songs teach Spanish words for body parts, colors, greetings... they even include a geography lesson. He kept our 250 student audiences engaged and learning. The kids loved it and many of our teachers said afterwards that Mauricio should have his own children's TV show. A fantastic way to introduce children to another culture and language.
Thank you for coming to our school, Mauricio!

Mauricio has a comfortable manner that endears him to children and adults. He has been part of my band, the Veloci-Rappers, for three years, touring and performing throughout Kansas and Missouri. I highly recommend his educational and interactive children's music shows. Mauricio is a cool guy!

Dino O'dell

...He is extremely engaging for kids and adults and is extremely proficient as a guitarist and singer... I cannot think of a better candidate for your music school or performance venue. He is an outstanding performer, composer, teacher and an amenable colleague. I give him my highest recommendation.

Mauricio is a multi-faceted artist who shares interests in both classical and popular music. He is a devoted performer of the clarinet and an award-winning singer-songwriter.

He has delved in jazz, salsa, rock, and ska and in 2000 Mauricio was the recipient of the National Composition Contest in Colombia with his song "Relámpagos y Flores.” Since 2007 Mauricio has performed for children with Dino O'Dell and the Veloci-Rappers and now is presenting his own show of bilingual songs.

With Makuza, his salsa band, he had the opportunity to open for Brazilian percussionist Airto Moeira and shared the stage with the great Poncho Sanchez.
