Growing up listening to the rise of rap, introduced to the acoustic guitar at the age of 21. Brian Maw combines the rhythm and flow from early hip-hop artists with the sounds influenced from today's rock artists such as Neil Young, Slightly Stoopid, Dave Matthews, Jack Johnson and many others. With a passion for poetry turned to melody's, Maw Band creates head bobbing music with influential lyrics about struggles and triumphs and love!
