Max buskohl is a German artist who was born in Berlin 11.18.1988 having been raised in Hamburg, Lanzarote and Berlin he also spent time time schooling in Ireland and Australia residing with his father Carl Carlton and Jimmy Barnes (a music icon in Australia)
At the age of 17 he stumbled into the german format of American Idol (DSDS) only to find out that it did not suit him. Having made it to the last three contestants he quit from the show causing an uproar within Germany but his decision being based on staying true to himself and his root lead to him gaining alot of sympathy with the public. His long term band Empty Trash were later signed to EMI and soon after hit the hit promoting their album "Confession", which was produced by grammy winning Patrik Berger ( Robyn, Lana del Rey,), co-produced by Carl Carlton and mixed by Pele Gunnerfeld (The Hives).
> After three years the band decided to call it a day and played their last concert 12th Febuary 2010. Universal then signed Max as a solo artist. From then on he has been working on his album traveling to places such as Nashville, Atlanta, London and the Joshua Tree for collaborations (Chris Goss, Chris Lindsay, Russ Ballard) and inspiration. The free track " I Think You're Wrong" and the Single "No More Bad Days" are already available as an introduction to what can be expected on the forth coming album in september.
> Through out the years Max Buskohl has also worked together with Klaus Voormann, who asked him to sing the song "You're Sixteen" guided by Ringo Starr and Jim Keltner on drums. Which was part of the grammy nominated project "A Sideman's Journey". He also sang on his fathers record alongside Eric Burdon (The Animals) and went on tour in collaboration with Mother's Finest
