Bio
Max starts learning classical guitar technique at the age of six. Later on, he finds two things that are going to change his life from the basis: a Hofner Bass and Polices music! Reggatta de Blanc and even more the bass groove in Walking On The Moon will make him discover a new world! He studies bass guitar technique enthusiastically with several teachers and double bass technique with the teachers Roberto Bartoli and Bruno Tommaso.
During the eighties he palys in italian folk music orchestras and a few bands of italian new wave, with different results and yet having a lot of fun.
Since the beginning his compositive attitude and his ability to arrange songs clearly appeared.
In 1990 he leaves Imola and goes to Milan where he begins his career as an assistant sound engineer and arranger with Silvio Amato, then working also as a composer at Gamma Records Studios.
He starts composing a new album for Jazz singer Carla Gemini, the songs been arranged by Alberto Radius, and then writes and arranges songs for italian singer Annalisa Minetti. He participates in Sanremo Giovani Contest with her.
He collaborates with Dario Baldan Bembo, writes soundtracks for publicity (Pupa Make Up, Crick Crock snacks, Giochi Preziosi, etc.), composes soundtracks for Darix Togni Circus, where he works during a tour as a musician and clown.
In the meanwhile composes and creates the concept for a new album, collaborating with Enrico Riccardi, Fio Zanotti, Maurizio Fabrizio e Dario Baldan Bembo. The CD is released by Polygram (now Universal Music).
He goes on composing soundtracks for the Circus and for a Fun Fair (Mirabilandia).
At the moment he is working on a project involving music and video art.
