Bio
The rock-n-roll revival has begun and MAX CADY has risen from the dead, so raise your fist.
"In the beginning, we set out to play loud, fast rock-n-roll.. and that's exactly what we're still doing... and will continue to do" says singer-guitarist Justin Moore.
Originally formed in the Lone Star state in March 2003, Max Cady has risen for rock-n-roll. MAX CADY's high-energy set has fans pumping their fist, raising their devil horns and begging for more.
At home and on the road, MAX CADY is honored to have shared the stage with: Fu Manchu, Toadies, Valient Thorr, Burning Brides, Andrew WK, The Donnas, Riverboat Gamblers, Blue Oyster Cult, Speedealer, Lions, Nashville Pussy, Local H, The Breeders, Vendetta Red, Danko Jones, The Fags, The Queers, LA Guns, Supagroup, Har Mar Superstar, Throw Rag, Vaux, Hagfish, and The Circle Jerks.
In addition, MAX CADY's punk rock ethics and DIY attitude has earned them several accolades including:
A consecutive 2 year nomination for The Dallas Observer Awards for "Best Hard Rock Band"
A Spot on the Kevin Says, Hop Topic Stage at the Vans Warped Tour in 2005
The inclusion of the title track from their debut record, "Tonight Alive" in the feature film, The Night of the White Pants
In January of 2005, MAX CADY released their debut album, Tonight Alive, on singer-guitarist Justin Moore's label Sidearm Entertainment. Tonight Alive was recorded at Last Beat Studios in Dallas, TX, with engineer/co-producer Paul Williams (Polyphonic Spree, Flickerstick, Burden Brothers).
In October of 2007 MAX CADY released their sophomore album, Gun Crime, which was recorded in Farmer's Branch, TX at Artisan Studios with co-producer and engineer Paul Williams.
Plagued with drummer issues and line-up changes, MAX CADY soldiers on and is currently mixing their 3rd studio album with Edmund Monsef (Queens of the Stone Age, Linkin Park, Smashing Pumpkins, Masters of Reality, The Cult) to be released early 2011.
