Max Harvey

Max Harvey (Birth name: Maxime Bezencon) was born on 1990 in Lausanne, Switzerland. He taught himself to play electric guitar. After auditioning, he was admitted to Berklee College of Music in Boston with a scholarship. He earned 5th position from 335 participants at the 2010 Berklee Guitar Sessions contest.

Max Harvey, the artist, is a vocalist-guitarist performer who lives and gigs in Switzerland and in the United States. He is drawn to powerful, electric band sounds and because of this, he has formed his new band on July 2012 “Max Harvey”.

Max along with the collaboration with the other members of the band, Matt Bessa on bass and Xavier Longchamp on drums have composed pop music that rocks with hooky melodies and grooves, while still maintaining an advanced level musicianship, taste and exciting high energy performing. On September 2012, Max Harvey recorded “Continentality EP” at Eight Ashbury Studio in Geneva, Switzerland.

Incidentally, Max Harvey has now two different sets of musicians depending on what country the band is playing in. The members of the band based in Switzerland are Matt Bessa (Bass: France) and Xavier Longchamp (Drums: Switzerland). The other set of musicians established in the United States (Boston, MA) are Lefteris Papadakis (Bass: Greece) and Yannick Ballmann (Drums: Belgium).
