Maxine Duncan

Maxine Duncan was born in Jamaica W.I. where she graduated from Ewarton High School. She started singing at the tender age of nine in churches and banquets all across Jamaica. She then migrated to the USA and resided in Queens N.Y. 

Maxine attended the Queens Borough Community College where she acquired her Associates Degree. She also achieved her Bachelor's and Master's degree at Adelphi University in Garden City NY. Her first album was recorded 2006 entitled "Greatest Love and Friend". Her single "Mama" was recorded in 2008. Her Album "I Am Committed To Jesus" received international recognition since the year 2011and is currently one of the most played on Caribbean Gospel Stations across the word. 

Maxine shows her versatility with a number of original renditions of her own compositions that appeared on six different Albums. She feels comfortable ministering as the spirit gives her utterance. She is anointed by the Holy Ghost and has a remarkable presence when she ministers. She is an Executive Producer, writer, and singer. Maxine was nominated in five categories at the Hopeton Lewis "Caribbean Gospel Music Awards", and won the best new female artist of the year 2008. She was also nominated in two categories at the Gill and Pat Bailey Gospel Music awards and won "Female Artist of the year" and "Performer Of The Year". She was also nominated for an achievement award by producer Linus Batiste. Maxine would like to thank all her adoring fans and the panel of ten professional judges who voted for her. Her videos entitled, "I Am Committed to Jesus" and "Greatest Love and Friend" has been a success in the United States, England, Jamaica West Indies and many other countries. She continues to pray for the success of all her albums.
