For fans of Max Sharam no descriptions are necessary. Plug into the universal heartbeat, trust your spirit, and walk boldly over the horizon: that is Max.

The multi-talented Max Sharam brings a wealth of experience to New York. Max made a name for herself as a recording artist with Warner Music, her unique blend of Pop and Classical Opera (P’Opera) - quickly became her trademark. She followed up her award winning, platinum selling debut album - ‘A Million Year Girl’, which was nominated for 8 Aria Awards in Australia, with hosts spots and guest appearances on shows like Video Hits, Good News Week, Red TV and sell out tours around the country. She was also featured in Channel 9’s Reality TV Documentary ‘Dream Factory’ - shot entirely in Los Angeles and was the subject matter of an Italian (RAI) TV Documentary – ‘Girl with the Guitar’. She toured Europe with two different theatre company’s, and when she was only 19 released her first (dance) LP. She also toured Europe as a solo artist with a string quartet for the release of ‘A Million Year Girl’.

Two years ago, Max wrote and staged her first one woman show for the International Comedy Festival in Melbourne and was reviewed by the London Sunday Observer - “Sharam has X factor in such abundance that you could forgive her almost anything”.

Also an author, Max’s first self-published limited edition book fast sold out last year. Entitled “Snakes Live Under My Bed”, the book – an ‘Allegory for Immature Adults’ - a collection of illustrated prose, created a demand for prints of her drawings to a point where she set up an Internet Gallery – selling her work as far and wide as Sydney, Los Angeles, Seattle and New York. Recently, Max’s self-penned and produced orchestration ‘Crashlanding!’ appeared in a PBS documentary ‘Frozen Angels’.

In possession of what she claims is an ‘international passport’, Max Sharam - an Australian native, is the daughter of a desert dwelling fisherman and her mother, a Champion Arabian Horse Breeder. She attended a Performing Arts College in Ballarat, Victoria, before hitting the stage and professionally touring in Rome and throughout Italy. Her stage credits include the musical ‘Forza Venite Gente’ (in Italian), ‘Kolbe’, ‘Tilly Divine’, ‘Jesus Christ Superstar’ as well as her one-woman shows, ‘MadmoselleMax’ & 'Butterfly Suicide' which she wrote and performed at international comedy and fringe festivals.

Max’s dream is to have her own one-woman (with band) multi-media rock musical Off Broadway.

Max: ‘New York – I’m home!’
