"Maxxtone rocked Holy Cross college"

Just wanted to thank you for bringing Maxxtone to Holy Cross on Friday. The
show went over great.... the students loved it. We'll keep in contact for a
potential show in the future

Andrew V Moczula
CAB NL Music CoChair - CAB of Holy Cross

"Thanks from Rutgers"

Thank you again for another great performance! The Live Band Karaoke is a
unique and awesome experience for all the students here at Rutgers, both
for those who participate on stage and those enjoying the music from the
crowd. The band's combination of musical talent and contagious energy gets
everyone in the room excited and cheering, and gives even the most shy
person the guts to get up on stage and sing their heart out.
And thank you all for being so very easy to work with, it was truly my
pleasure to meet and work with you all for the second year in a row. Both
of the performances were all I ever could have asked for!

"Email from Shawn Pelton (drummer for SNL)"

Hey Jon
Got your CD today.
The songs are hooky, in a good pop way.
I can't wait to hear you guys play. Let me know when you guys are in NYC so I can check you out.
Keep up the good work in the field.

"The 2005 Block Island Music Fest lineup"

"More hooks than a fisherman's tackle box is the only way to describe Maxxtone's sound. Seriously written pop/rock tunes that don't take themselves too seriously are hard to create. Don't miss them so you can say you saw them before they were big." - The Block Island Times

"Live Wire Awards honor top local Cd's"

"Another project out of Zing Studios in Westfield, Maxxtone features former Orange Crush singer Aaron Fay. The disc "Legend" has major label production values and some great songs including the track "Take my Breath Away," and down-on-my-luck song entitled "Billy Buckner"(recorded pre-world series win) Check out" - The Republican 1/6/05

"Nightcrawler noteables"

" Billy Buckner by Maxxtone. As of Oct. the sentiments expressed in this Maxxtone cult favorite rang as true- and painful- as that fateful night in 1986. Things could be worse you could be Billy Buckner.
Since the 2004 ALCS, though, your friendly neighborhood nightcrawler can think of at least one plight even more dreaded than the career-ending gaffe by Beantowns knock-kneed first baseman.
Things could be worse, you could be a Yankees fan experiencing the biggest collapse in sports history....
Whatdaya think Maxxtonians?
Do you smell a hit?" - Valley Advocate 12/23/04
