Maya Mamura

Maya Mamura is an international producer/dj/musician/singer-songwriter from Tokyo, Japan + Honolulu, Hawaii. She incorporates live + dj performances and mixes and composes various genres such as hip electronic/dance/house beats with some old school disco, rock, hip-hop, and chillout music.

Her fierce multi-faceted repertoire includes rocking the guitar, flute, drums, bass, piano, and an endless arsenal of instruments. She has formally trained at various music schools in Tokyo and in Hawaii and has had the privilege of studying under Grammy Award winning music professionals and has shared the stage with many talented international music legends.

At a young age, Maya started touring with her punk band throughout Japan playing large festivals and worked as a radio dj on 77.7 FM Yamato Broadcasting Station (Japan) + 90.3 FM KTUH (Hawaii). She has had exclusive airplay, reviews, and has received various music awards throughout her career. With a deep passion for technology and creating progressive music, Maya's sound has evolved into a seductive multi-genre masterpiece. Her music style has been described as being innovative, sexy, and edgy.

Currently, Maya has teamed up with long time best friend Ryan Miyashiro who is also a 90.3 FM KTUH dj and two other multi-talented guest dj/musicians to the crew to create an entertaining live party rocking performance.
