Mayberry

All legendary artists have three things in common. Their musical compositions embody versatility, substance and creativity. Mayberry's music carries each of those traits. They continue to stretch their talent across multiple music genres attempting to spark a change in rock music as a whole. The band is made up of two UGA students (Jonathan Harris and Mark Green), and two musicians from Toccoa Falls College (James Earwood, and David Allen Perry "DAP"). Mayberry has a lush contemporary sound that brings to mind the likes of John Mayer, Idlewild, Lifehouse and The Goo-Goo Dolls. "Cascading" showcases raspy vocals with terrific blends of dreamy meditation. "Movement" is an upbeat blend of jazz and rock with hints of Emo. Mayberry has two EP's in the market; "Monday Evenings E.P." released in February 2005 and a new project entitled "It's Better With Friends". These are two of the most musically diverse independent albums that you will hear this year. Mayberry's style of music is as versatile as ever, but yet keeps a signature sound that is sure to make any music lover a fan. Stay tuned, as Mayberry will become one of the most influential and most recognized bands of 2006.
