Bio
The Mayfires are a musical collage, a unique blend of musicians with varying backgrounds and influences brought together by fate and the common goal to make great music. Mayfires music has been described as “melodic”, “intense”, “powerful” and “sexy”. The band has been likened to such artists as Garbage and the Foo Fighters by their fans. As part of Chicago’s vibrant music scene, the Mayfires are making their impact felt with live performances as well as frequent appearances on FearlessRadio.com, which is heard by thousands of listeners throughout the Chicagoland area and beyond. Members of the band have shared the stage with such notables as Matchbox 20, Everclear, Live and PJ Harvey. In a relatively short time the Mayfires have developed a loyal fan base in Chicago as well as other regions in the Mid-West. The band is working on their first full-length studio album, which is scheduled to be released in spring 2006.
