After winning many competitions on the local scene,
Mayflower has been recording a first album that is set to be released in October 2008. Songs were recorded at the prestigious 451 Studio with Marcus Paquin who worked with an impressive list of bands such as Arcade Fire.

-In all of our heads-
We started this band on luck and a dime. As time went by, we all realized that maybe there was something more we were looking for... To this day ,just like on the first morning, this sentence is still present in all of our heads: "There's nothing we want more". So we took a walk without knowing where it would lead us. Four childhood friends from Courchesne street in Quebec, Canada. Along the way something special bloomed. Our influences are wide and range from Radiohead, Placebo, Interpol, Wilco, My Morning Jacket, White Stripes, Arcade Fire, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Pixies, Doves, GrandDaddy, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, Muse, Pink Floyd. We decided to buy a house north of Montreal so we could live our musical odyssey. There, we experienced rock.
Our music is a redefinition of rythm and sounds. A perfect blend of truth and blazing lights. The reunion of striking guitars, cracking beats and lifting bass. We'll give you electric emotions.
