Mayhem

Jesse "Mayhem" Nunez, a native New Yorker, was born in Los Angeles, California in the mid 1980s, but soon moved to Queens, NY. Growing up in the Mecca of Hip-Hop, he s been influenced greatly by his surroundings, in which he was exposed to the 4 elements of Hip-Hop. Since his teenage years he has been very musically oriented and started producing on his grandmother s dual-tape deck in the year 1996. He already knew it was fun and once his talent became obvious he gathered some change from his savings and bought his first beat machine. Soon after, he linked up with DJ Neddy, a long time friend and New York City club DJ and promoter. Together they started a band called, "Loc Productions".

In the year 2003, when things started becoming more serious, another family production site came to surface, "Ground Zero Productions". Ground Zero consisted of Au-fait, Psyclone, DJ Neddy and Mayhem. The close friends and band members have been readily producing, mixing and recording throughout the years. Finally, in 2008 the group is dropping the album that we have all been waiting for. In the next few months a new wave of music is sure to be hitting the streets. They plan to stress the reality of underground hip-hop world and of their lives in general. Mayhem is managed by Jonathan Santana aka JBiggs of Lawless Records, a record label started in 2006. Jesse would like to thank his family and friends for helping point him in the right direction and providing any support needed on his conquest to follow his heart.
