MazeLab stands for genuine rock. Cradled by a voice that transports us to an intense atmosphere, these four experienced professional musicians who have been working together for over two decades, generate a unique energy that makes MazeLab live a must.

Biography

Originally called Maze, its name says it all; Mazelab offers a labyrinth of riffs and rhythms refined from organic rock, with influences that can be traced from the rock of the 70’s to jazz and the blues.
Zé Moreira, Nené and Leopoldo Gouveia have worked together since 1988 but in the 90’s they met singer Paulo Ramos and so the stage was set for the Maze to thicken.
In 2005, their first album Would You - a dense and conceptual CD that received significantly positive reviews – was presented at the Eunice Munoz Auditorium. During the following years the members of MazeLab played live for numerous Portuguese singers and musicians.
In 2010, the Band returned to their studio in Paço d’Arcos to record the album Evolution mixed by Producer João Martins.
This album was first presented in May 2011 at the Ruy de Carvalho Auditorium where the video clip Compromise was filmed with the support of the Fundação Talento (Talent Foundation). This single will be the hymn of the Make it Possible project that has the support of the United Nations’ Objectives Campaign. The cover of the new album Evolution was designed by the plastic artist Paulo Arraiano and awarded with an International Design Award.
From 2003 till today, this Band from Paço d’Arcos has performed their maze nationwide, however, one of their most important performances in Portugal was at the Benfica Football Stadium before 55 thousand people, during the celebration of the Championship Title.
