M Bars has worked hard to become the next big thing in Hip Hop. The Manhattan-born lyricist has stayed on the grind and racked up an impressive list of accomplishments. His gift as a versatile songwriter was proven when, in 2006, he was personally chosen by Jay-Z, who ironically is M Bars’ biggest inspiration, to write and perform a theme song for his NBA franchise, the New Jersey Nets. Sponsored by Hot 97 and Sprite, M Bars recorded his track “Goin’ Hard (Go N.E.T.S)” at Baseline Studios.
M Bars has an abundance of performances in addition to many press and charity event appearances. M Bars is an active songwriter with BMI and has been profiled on BET News for his unique work as well as being the musical face of the NJ Nets.
