LYRO got his first taste of the Rap art format Central High School, in his hometown of Bridgeport, CT. Before that time, he was an avid poetry writer. He had only experienced real Hip Hop in the streets, from friends and the hustlers which bumped Nas on their mini boom-boxes. There was an entire culture of Hip Hop happening in and around him, from the graffiti to rap and beat boxing. The sounds of freestyle cyphers and rap battles would flood the hallways like clockwork between classes. The energy of the crowd blew LYROs mind! That's when his path was made clear as an MC. LYROs lyrics vary in subject matter and are definitely authentic. You will be mesmerized by his vast content, which encompasses everything from the party life to dramatic life situations, spirituality, history and REAL RAW RAP!!! No matter your mood, LYRO will enlighten you on all levels.
