The McFlies Recipe for Home-Cooked Musical Mayhem:
Take seven uniquely talented musicians. Marinate in roots, acoustic, classical, folk, pop, rock and country influences. Add approximately two dozen instruments like melodica, ukulele, accordion, upright bass, cajon, congas, glockenspiel, violin, banjo, guitar and whatever else is handy. Stir in every song you ever loved from the eighties, bring to a boil and party like its 1986!
Many bands cover eighties material. The McFlies reinvent all your favourite songs from the eighties 100% acoustically. The McFlies consist of four lead vocalists (male and female) a battery of instruments and unique and imaginative arrangements of popular music from an era that’s just as relevant now as it was them. No synthesizer. No electric drums. Just great songs, whacky eighties couture and a stage show you won’t soon forget. Dancing and laughter is guaranteed!
The McFlies eighties repertoire covers hits in the pop, punk, new wave, rock, r & b, reggae, and of course metal, genres from artists like Men Without Hats, Cindy Lauper, Bryan Adams, Cory Hart, The Cure, A ha, Quiet Riot, Lionel Richie and many more
