McNaughton Skyline started back in the winter of 02/03 as a small acoustic project with our old friend Casey (guitar) and Nate (lead singer/guitar); and started playing shows shortly afterwards in the spring of 03'. They then soon added Luke and Josiah on bass and drums respectively. After reaching a larger audience and coming out with their debut Ep entitled “After Curfew” (2003), they continued to play many shows and write songs. In the spring of 2004, McNaughton went back into the studio and recorded a three song demo. They then continued playing shows throughout the summer of 04' and when the summer ended, Casey chose to leave to pursue higher education in Michigan. This brought about the addition of long time friend Brandon. He came to his first practice with a new feel and energy. While maintaining their emotional roots, they gained a powerful sound that brought energy to the stage. With new material at hand, their combined sound is captivating and more full than ever before. Shows and the recording of a new full length cd are all in the works for this winter.
