Bio

Ron McNeill was a driven athlete winning a Junior A Hockey Championship and playing professional hockey in the ECHL. He was also heavily involved in boxing winning the Alberta silver and golden gloves. He was a former sparring partner of North American Champion, Dale Brown. Although Ron's love for sports is clearly noticable in his competitive edge, his first love is his two boys, Tyson and Jordan. After that it is Song Writing. He recently sold his business so he can concentrate on being a full-time songwriter in Nashville, Tennessee.

Ron was born in Minto, New Brunswick. His roots run deep in music. He is from a large family of song writers. His father and Uncle recorded in 1977 with their band Noahs Ark and had two singles receiving air play across Canada. His Uncle Dave won the St. John Maritime songwriting contest in 1986. His Aunt Joselyn was the first place winner of the Maritime open country singing contest in 1987 and performed her self-penned song on the Grand Ole Opry Gospel Hour. Ron's first cousin, Wendy McNeill has released three albums and has performed all around the world.
