My Cardboard Spaceship Adventure is a fresh pop-punk/powerpop act from Pittsburgh, PA. In July of 2008 they independently released their debut EP "Lets Play It Safe" Which has sold well on various online stores. Within only the 1st year they've opened for notable acts Mae (Capital/Tooth & Nail), Danger Radio (Photofinish), My Favorite Highway (Virgin), Stereo Skyline, Push Play, Emily Osment (Hannah Montana), School Boy Humor (Vagrant), Punchline (Fueled By Ramen/Modern Short Stories) and Farewell (Epitaph). Most recently they completed a summer tour, which included a spot on the 2009 Vans Warped Tour, Kevin Says Stage.
We're honest dudes who just want to record good songs and put on energitic fun shows. I mean, who wouldn't love to do this for a living?" says frontman Mikey Meiers.
This band shines with positive lyrics, harmonies, and hooks.
Their work ethic in songwriting and promotion is uncanny, and they're ready for good things to happen.
They are currently in the studio recording a follow up record and plan to tour more extensively throughout the end of the year and in 2010
