"McWorm – The Intro (The XX) McWorm Remix"

McWorm – The Intro (The XX) McWorm Remix - Get Right Music

"Sex, Lies & DCWeek"

I did hear that McWorm (who crushed it at the closing party at the 9:30 Club) ended up having an after party that included him, a couple band members and roughly 40 girls. I think that’s a solid ratio to go for. Some great pics of the closing party can be found here. - debbieweil.com

"Be Free"

Cisco Robinson aka McWorm is not only a young recording artist but also a political personality. He resides in DC where he got his start working for then Presidential candidate Barack Obama. I really like the whole hip/hop reggae collaboration. I haven't been able to find anyone with that vibe until now. McWorm is a new artist to NSB so you'll be hearing a whole lot more from him. - NewSolidBeats

"From Obama White House To Music: An Exclusive Interview with Cisco Robinson aka "McWorm""

Today, Locanto had the great privilege and honor to interview "the coolest guy in D.C." - former Barack Obama White House analyst and musical artist Cisco Robinson aka McWorm. We are very proud to present you this exclusive and very interesting interview - Locanto

"McWorm - Be Free"

Here is an interesting song, Be Free, that features elements from Reggae, Ska, Hip-Hop, Flowetry/spoken word, Alt/Indie-esque sounds and much more. I love the little break down halfway through and the song as a whole just flows well. - Choonz.com

"Introducing: McWorm..."

So Cisco Robinson, aka McWorm, hit up the inbox as a fan of the site and dropped a few of his new tracks. What McWorm brings to the table is something more than music. He brings substance. As a new cat in the game he is balancing music with politics. These two tracks definitely bring two different distinct sounds. One is McWorm's own version of XX's "The Intro" and absolutely kills out. On the other hand "Be Free" is a reggae filled hip-hop track that is something anyone could chill to. I don't know which track I like better, but I'll tell you right now I am bumpin' both constantly. I've got to give McWorm some serious props because he's bringing meaning to the music industry through his music. I'm certainly a fan and I think you guys will be too! - Stags Flow

"One Love"

This song has heavy reggae influence in it, but retains a true pop chorus. I'm looking forward to the full EP and can't wait to hear what he will have in store for us. Listen and download "One Love" below. - OhSoFresh

"McWORM - MP3 Download"

Here's a new artist on the up who's got a sound one could imagine hearing more of - fella outta DC by the name McWorm - below with his track "Be Free". 'Worm's got a story far from the conventional path to musical pursuit, first copping himself a job in the White House fresh outta college after grinding for Obama on the campaign trail in 2008. He mentions that politics and music were always two things that he wanted to get into when growing up, and so far he's definitely down the right path, with an EP coming out in March and songwriting collaborations in the works.

"Be Free" is a catchy and well-written ska-like tune with positive vibes that shows McWorm's potential on multiple levels. - Vibe To This

"Introducing"

This dude is talented and has a great story. Originally when he sent us an e-mail and attached a CBS interview the first thought that came to mind was… “This dude has been on CBS? Legit.” Then we heard his music. More legit. Now you may be wondering why he was featured on CBS (cough, he worked in the white house, cough)… But we’ll let the video do the talking, but his story is very interesting so I recommend to everyone that you check the video out, as well as all of McWorm’s music. Below we have 3 of his hottest tracks below. Make sure you hit the down arrow to download and support McWorm. - Ear Drop

"February's Best: McWorm, NOVA"

This post is the best submissions we got in the month of February. I already got a few good submissions from March and before I forget, it’s time to give my top 3 February soundcloud submissions a shout out.

First is McWorm aka Cisco Robinson who has the most interesting story. In 2007 he was working for Barack Obama and got a job in the White House when Obama got elected President. Becoming one of the youngest White House employees at age 22, he wanted to pursue one of his other dreams. Two years later at 24, he decided he wanted to pursue a music career. - BeforeTheBigs

"McWorm"

I’ve got a real treat for you all today, and it’s in the form of a new artist, McWorm. Here’s a little back story, McWorm, (real name Cisco Robinson) actually used to work at the White House. At only 22, he was hired to work there making him one of the youngest employees. However, he left all of that behind in order to pursue his true passion, music. Now at 24, he’s already dropped some sick floats! In addition, he has a free mixtape coming out on 4.1.11. McWorm definitely creates exceptional music that you can tell is straight from the soul, so I encourage all of you to show him your support! I know after listening to one of his tracks you’ll be sold, I know I was! Like him on facebook HERE. Visit his website, www.mcworm.com, for more info. Here’s even an interview he did with CBS! Maybe Carsxhype can do our own interview. ;) - Cars & Hype

"McWorm"

McWorm sent me a different track that I will be posting up sometime in the near future. For now, I decided to his you all with his older track, “Be Free”. The track reminds me of Dispatch. I don’t know why, but it just has that sort of feel to it. The song features a very pop-reggae feel to it, and at the same time, gives off that Dispatch sound with the drums. ”Be Free” is a sick track that I advise all the readers out there to check out. Listen and download the single for free below and be on the lookout for another McWorm track over the next day or so! - ThaGoodLifeReviews

"McWorm - Be Free and The Intro"

Check the video if you have some free time. Otherwise skip right ahead to the soulful and chill rap tracks below. I’m really digging Cisco’s vibe, it’s a welcomed change of pace in my music library. Definitely give these an ear. - FreshNewTracks

"McWorm - Be Free"

Here is McWorm. McWorm, was a former White House analyst for Obama. McWorm is now a musician. McWorm has a weird name, but i wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve only been writing weirdly because of the fact that i love the name and just want to keep saying it. Here is an interesting song, Be Free, that features elements from Reggae, Ska, Hip-Hop, Flowetry/spoken word, Alt/Indie-esque sounds and much more. I love the little break down halfway through and the song as a whole just flows well. - ThisBonusTrack.com

Hired at 22 years old, Cisco was one of the White House’s youngest employees. Now at 24, he is seeking to break into the music industry. To date, his music has been played on NPR, and numerous college radio stations. With a story to tell, and an uncanny knack for catchy hooks, he is currently writing, producing and recording his music.
