It’s been nonstop work for these California teens since renowned blues guitarist Robby Z spied them playing at a birthday party for (Night Ranger guitarist) Brad Gillis’ daughter, Montanna. Robby recounts: “They were into their second song when I told ‘em, ‘Dudes, let’s make a record!’”

MdK consists of Nick Hays (Guitar), Keller O’Rourke (Drums), Matt Salavitch (Bass) and Tyler Stimpson (Vocals). Nick and Keller are 17 years old, and Matt and Tyler are 16 years old. All attend California High School, in San Ramon, CA.

Their debut album, “It’s Never Over” was recorded in Hayward, CA at Spiritwind Studios, engineered by Jim Hawthorne and produced by Robby Z.

“It’s Never Over” features twelve original songs covering a wide stylistic range. Starting with "Keep it Going", a soft-rocking remembrance of a girl that can’t be trusted, MdK leads us through the edgy-alternative "Your History", "It’s Never Over", and "Little Black Dress"; the powerful new-genre Pop-Punk sounds of "With You" and "Get Back Home"; the soft-hearted ballads "Montanna" and "Something More"; the infectious pop-rock of " I Know", and a few… well, YOU decide what to call them!
