Bryce Armond Thompson aka (KB) Killa B, was born June 11th in Pomona, California, reared in Austin, Texas. Musically inclined at an early age KB took drums lessons at age 8 and became the drummer for his youth church choir. He then began mixing and making beats to his aunt tracks one of Europe’s legendary greatest jazz singer Donna Hightower. KB began writing lyrics, singing, rapping then asked for more exposure. He was given the opportunity to travel to Atlanta, GA where he was introduced to So So Def family and Lil Bow Wow. While in Atlanta he met and recorded several tracks in the studio of producer Torrance Scott, then producer of rap artist Too Short. He recorded tracks at producer Grip’s studio, then producer of the S.O.S. Band. After reality sat in Bryce decided to be called Lil B. KB knew at this point his career would be in the music industry, where he performed as often as possible in local talents shows, the annual Stop the Violence conferences and KAZI 88.7 annual Summer-fest. At 13 KB was introduced to his protege Morris Hayes, producer of Ill Street Production, member of the NPG band and music director of Prince. For several spring breaks and summers in Minneapolis, MN, he spent a lot of time with Morris in his studio learning the art of music production. KB decided again to change his name to BezZy and while in Ill Street studio he co-produced his first CD “Time to Shine”. Back in Austin BezZy appeared in shows throughout Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio locking down his fan base. Words, style and swag cannot describe how Killa B (KB) is buzzing ,buzzing, buzz.
