Alone Tonight

Written By: Marion Arthur

You leave me alone tonight,
contemplating our latest fight.
What would it be like,
what would it be like,
to get used to this violence?

There's so much I would like to tell you,
then again what would you say,
to the splinters of memory
that stilll haunt my way.

Peter said no one could take my soul.
Johnny said I was beautiful.
Anna said I would always be with her.
Anna said I would always be with her.

You leave me alone tonight,
kind of figured if I could get it right,
you'd stay home with me most of the time,
you'd come home to me most of the time.
You leave me alone tonight,
contemplating our latest fight,
what would it be like,
what would it be like,
to get used to this violence.

There's so much I would like to tell you,
then again what would you say,
to the splinters of memory,
that still haunt my way.

Heavy Darkness

Written By: MEA

Through this heavy darkness, I see a glittering snowfall, pomising to cleanse me. When I step towards the light, I think I catch a chill, but I can't look back now, no I can't look back now. Through a cloud as thick as rain, God lends me his elbow, hold on little girl, just hold on tight. There's a place that you could come to, no one would see you enter. No one would see you leave

You enter the room, all gold and sparkling. I await your attention. No one saw me come in, I came here of my own volition. I have questions, lots of questions. What is it, what is it, what is it, I can't seem to find.? What is it, what is it, what is it I can't seem to find? You enter the room, I open my mouth. Why can't you just let me in, why do I always fall down. You say, you say, what is it, what is it, what is it, I can help you with? What is it, what is it, what is it, I can help you with . You enter the room, I open my mouth. Why can't you I seem to get anything right, why do I always fall down. You say. You say. You say. Ahhh

Silent

Written By: Marion Arthur

Now it's quiet, now it's silent, now it's calm
And you're sleeping with your hands over your ear
I blow a kiss, make a wish and leave the room
don't think I'll be back here 'til morning, 'til morning

now it's quiet, now it's silent, now it's calm
and the moon and I start walking into town
she cries and says you don't treat her right
she cries and says she can't go on

and now the moon begins to bleed
i missed you in the hay and the fever
now the moon begins to bleed
i missed you in the hay and the fever
and now the trail starts to fade
there's no gingerbread, only witches
there's no gingerbread, only witches
