Bio
Known for smart, dangerous, inventive writing and fearlessly committed performances, MEAT is one of the most critically acclaimed and respected groups on the sketch festival circuit. MEAT is Biz Ellis, Reggan Holland, Livia Scott and Becky Poole.
Our long list of achievements includes critics picks from The Village Voice, Time Out Chicago, The Onion, and award nominations by the Emerging Comics of NY for Best Sketch Group. MEAT has also enjoyed being the toast of Chicago, where we were hailed by the Chicago Sun-Times and named Best Performers by The Chicago Tribune for our sold-out performances at the Chicago Sketch Festival.
MEAT has been an official selection of The Best of the Best Sketch Festival, Seattle Sketch Festival, Vancouver Sketch Festival, San Francisco Sketch Festival, DC Comedy Festival and The New York Sketch Festival.
We are also honored to have shared billing with Lewis Black, Judy Gold, Jim Gaffigan, Demetri Martin and Gloria Steinam.
