Mecca

She goes by the name of Mecca Freeman. Born April-3rd-1992 in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mecca's calling began to manifest before she could even speak clearly. At age two, family and friends discovered that Mecca was blessed with a natural God given talent of dance and performance. With genuine stage presence at age 6, Mecca first took the stage performing in school plays.

Mecca displayed her love for dance and performing so much that her family decided to help nurture her gift by investing in professional training for her. Mecca attended Hip Hop Planet dance studio, Jazz Planet dance studio and Ballet Planet dance studio; all of which are located in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a result of her training, Mecca became widely proficient in jazz, ballet, modern dance, hip-hop, choreography, acting and praise-dance.

While attending Robert A. Taft Technology High School in Cincinnati, Mecca began to take dancing very seriously. She started to dance with local dance groups birthed in her hometown which gave her the opportunity to showcase her talent all over the world. At age 15 Mecca traveled to New York City for an audition to become a back ground dancer for the pop singer Ciara. That's when Mecca realized the beauty of dance.

At age 16 Mecca began to promote herself as a dancer around the world. Mecca has already landed major dance gigs such as NAACP Hip-Hop, 2009 Urban Networking Conference Hip-Hop, Summer Winds Classical Ballet, and the Messiah Praise. Mecca is presently continuing to pursue her dream.
