Bio

Formed in the fall of 2007, Mechanism was created by 4 well known musician's in the Seattle/Tacoma area. Ryan Renfield (Lead Vocals, Lead Guitar), Tony DeLisio (Lead Guitar), Mike Parker (Bass) and Rob Rotermund (Drums). The band blends a unique combination of both modern , and classic metal bands. Fans of bands like Disturbed, God Smack, Sevendust, Kill Switch Engage, Dope, Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath tend to love the sound of Mechanism. Aside from these legendary bands, the members of the band have a wide array of diverse influences and it really shows in their music. Their sound is heavy, dark and intense with strong songs and as a metal band they are very radio friendly. The combination of their heavy yet melodic sound with their over-the-top, high-energy stage show keeps the fans coming back for more. It's no wonder that Mechanism is one of the Seattle areas most popular bands and in high demand as direct support for National acts as they come through on tour.

Mechanism is proud to have built an extensive, loyal following in the greater Seattle area. Since their inception the band has been fortunate enough to share the stage as direct support with world famous national acts including: Sanctuary, Where Angels Suffer (former members of W.A.S.P. And Metal church), Dokken and Brazilian metal gods MindFlow. The summer of 2011 Mechanism is scheduled to play with Anthrax, Drowning Pool and also has a few others in the works.

The week of January 10-15th 2011, Mechanism was featured as KISW 99.9 FM's Loud and Local band of the Week. Considering that KISW is the biggest rock station in the Pacific Northwest and all the incredible talent in the area the band considers that a great honor. Mechanism has also been featured and interviewed on KGRG FM and Metal Monthly. They are also currently getting consistent airplay on bay area super station KCRH 89.9 FM.

In late 2010 Mechanism signed a record contract with indie label Deka Records and is scheduled for International release in April 2011. The band's self titled album is sure to be a hit here in the USA and in the European and Asian markets.

At this time the band has a solid foundation in the Seattle/Tacoma area and is looking to expand their horizons and share their music with a broader audience. They are interested in booking shows in Oregon, California, Idaho and British Columbia.
