Hailing from Lansing, Michigan - Medica is an up and coming metal band that features a dynamic blend of heavy hitting aggression, and smooth melodic hooks.
Medica formed in early 2011 and quickly worked to gain a foothold in the music world. Playing shows with acts ranging from For The Fallen Dreams to Devildriver, the band made it a point to show their dedication.
In the summer of 2011 - the band headed into the studio to record what would become their debut EP entitled "Bliss Filled Delusions". The five track recording was released on CD July 23rd 2011 to rave reviews, and was later released onto iTunes October 17th 2011. The recording brought in outside talent for mixing, hiring former Mutiny Within vocalist Christopher Clancy to bring the songs to life.
As 2011 comes to a close - Medica continues to push the boundaries of their music and fanbase. With shows booked and new songs in the works, Medica hope to only surpass their achievements with every new idea. There are no signs of slowing for this group of driven individuals.
