Medical Pilot is an explosive, guitar driven alternative rock band. With stellar riffs, brilliant melodies, and an engaging stage presence, Medical Pilot exemplifies the exact kind of band that you would expect to making waves across western Canada. Their first foray was a five-track EP release in 2015 named The Same, followed up by a pair of releases in 2017 – an eponymous EP early in the year, and a two-track effort later in the year that featured a cover of Tragically Hip’s Grace Too. 2018 saw the release of “Painting Pictures and Telling Stories”, which saw a depart from the band’s earlier sound into a focused, refined theme exploring more mature subject matter. 2020 kicked off with a new single “What?!” which talked about the struggles of living with adult ADHD and came complete with a sonic palette to match. Currently the band is focusing on their debut album, to be released in September 2020. Focused almost equally on both riffs and melodies, never afraid to experiment, their journey finds four members singing at one point. Their songs sometimes somber, sometimes pleading, and then other times soaring and reaching.
