Medicinal Use

Medicinal Use was formed in 2006 by founding members Brandon Summers and Chris French. What started as a Garage Punk four piece has evolved into the power trio they are today. The bands lineup includes Chris French on drums and vocals, Brandon Summers on Bass and lead vocals, and the newly added Jon Paul on lead guitar.
With a combined total of 35 years playing experience, their performance can only be described as explosive. Pulling influence from bands such as, Stone Temple Pilots, The Mars Volta, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Clutch, Primus, The Misfits, The White Stripes, Down, and The Dead Weather, Medicinal Use creates musical arrangements inspired by their icons, to achieve an original sound that is hard to duplicate.
At a Medicinal Use show you can expect a raw, energetic experience. Loud music is not a necessity to a Medicinal User; it is a way of life. They expect to feel the pulse of the bass and drums, as well as a BAMF guitar solo, and Medicinal Use has the prescription for success.
Medicinal Use has played a wide range of venues including but not limited to: Howards Club H, Sandusky Bike Rally, The Rock Bar, The Underground, Cabana Jack’s, Frankie’s to name a few, as well as hosting various weekly open mic events throughout northwestern Ohio.
