Medina is a musical force: with three part harmony vocals, guitars expertly placed, drums paving the road with keys and bass guitar. Using a wide scope of influences from Classic Rock and Blues, to Alternative Rock, Jazz and Folk, Medina’s strength is MULTI-GENRE MUSIC. With Medina, all styles, genres, and audiences will find something not found in other bands: Great Music, Friends and an Honest Organic Chemistry.
Formed after the demise of their previous band "Mean Old Man", Medina is the brainchild of contrast and progression. Combing many influences together to create a unique yet "down-home" sound, Medina soon attracted new members and began recording and performing. From rockin' out at the Colorado People's Fair to intimate acoustic performances at Swallow Hill, Medina has entertained thousands all over the Rocky Mountain Region.
With the New line-up, strengthening it's sound everyday, MEDINA is now playing around the local Denver music scene to a fast growing fan base that remains eager and faithful. Future Projects include: a new CD release with new songs recorded by the new lineup, A Mission to Mars Concept Album, and even a straight forward Blues album, as well as shows at Swallow Hill and many other great stages.
