Bio
Meen Rory is an artist based out of Philadelphia, Pa. Born November 1, 1990 to a single parent mother with 4 other sibling, Meen experienced a lot at an early age. Growing up with older brothers who listened to rappers such as Biggie, Tupac, Busta Rhymes, a mother who listened to slow jams from artists such as Tina Turner and Anita Baker, as well as a grandmother who strictly played jazz, Meen always was around music. By the age 7 he gained an interest in creating his own and began to write rhymes in a composition book. Fun fact, his first grade teacher caught him writing a rap and he got detention due to the vulgar language. As he grew older he grew into a more skilled rapper using his talent to entertain people in his neighborhood. In 2010 Meen decided to take it a step further and get into the studio. Since then he’s recorded many songs, performed in many cities, all while still on a small platform. He began his movement “Black Collar Music” in 2012 and looks to tune it into a label in the near future. After a tragedy of losing his first born son back in 2016, Meen has been striving to do what he loves, which is to make music. From his clever deliver, to his variety of flows, and his ability to paint pictures with his words, Meen Rory is surely in a lane of his own. His friends compare him to a mixture of Kendrick Lamar and DMX.
