Hey, we're Meet Me At The Border, a five piece post punk rock band from Colchester, Essex, UK
We have been together since early 2010 as a four piece and in May the band became five when Andy returned from Australia and took up the guitar position in the band. In the short time the band has been together we have knocked out two E.P's, showing the bands progression from light hearted songs about ex-girlfriends to songs tackling more trying issue, we have played plenty of gigs in the Essex area, gaining fans as we go round! reveiws have been written about our E.P all of which find the music suited to the time, yet with a timeless feel, the L.P project wrote:
"These are songs that that the punks of a previous generation would have been proud of."
Panic Magazinge wrote:
"The tracks offer a refreshing change from the post hardcore/emo scene as influences such as Ramones, Billy Talent and Anti-Flag show through."
We have also recently had the luck of being played on Amazing Radio, as we were made track of the week on Arron Phillip's 'Amazing Rock Show'
We continue gigging and rehearsing and writing....
