Bio

Since 2006, Megadriel has influenced the Puerto Rican
underground scene by delivering Goth oriented music. Influenced
by Europe’s Gothic Metal Movement, the Japanese Visual and J-Rock bands, and American 80´s and Glam movements, Megadriel has delivered an unique sound of Gothic and Rock & Roll. Megadriel started out with 6 members but in 2007 it was reduced to a quintet, action that proved beneficial in its sound, vibe, and look. Megadriel is well known for their energy on stage, awesome performances, and their fan-oriented web pages. These actions have led them to be interviewed across the media for example Puerto Rico´s Down Island Magazine and on Chanel 30, and United Kingdom’s Spider’s Web Magazine, amongst others. On December 2008 the band spotted a top ten prize on the Goth/industrial section on the monthly contest sponsored by Ourstage.com with the song ¨Sweet Poison¨ album ¨Wounds & Lust¨. They reached a 2000 listen count in less than one week
on myspace.com, vampirefreaks.com, and purevolume.com. On November 2009 Megadriel had a Famecast rating of 90.97 which is a search engine that scans the Web 24/7 to see how much your work is being viewed, shared, linked to and mentioned worldwide. It is used as a symbol of artist’s popularity and marketability. Megadriel has become a asset on the Puerto Rico's underground scene working out deals and arranging
events. Megadriel has shared stage with most of Puerto Rico´s bands such as Dantesco, Machete, Sacramento, Niño Planeta, Slimy Nuggets, amongst many others.
