Megan performed and co-wrote the track, “All My Days” featured in the 20th Century Fox 2006 movie release - ‘Confetti’, starring British actor Martin Freeman among other talented British actors.

Megan co-wrote the track “Need A Little Love” on Home & Away soap actor Bec (Cartwright) Hewitt’s debut album.

March 2006 saw Billabong Australia feature Megan’s track “I Won’t Let Ya”, in the broadcast of the Billabong World Junior Surf Championships. This track, co-written and performed by Megan, appeared on Fuel TV in Australia & New Zealand, and on Extreme TV in the UK.

Megan B. Smith is a talented Australian singer/songwriter.

During Megan’s time living in London, she co-wrote the track “I’m So High” featured on Kylie Minogue’s multi platinum “Light Years” album. She also co-wrote with Bryan Adams, Guy Chambers (Robbie Willliams), Steve Booker (Duffy), and Eliot Kennedy (Spice Girls, S Club 7, Delta Goodrem), as well as writing toplines for many DJ tracks.

In Australia, Megan landed the track “Need A Little Love” on Home & Away actor Bec (Cartwright) Hewitt’s debut album.

Megan’s track, “All My Days” featured in the 20th Century Fox 2006 movie release - ‘Confetti’, starring British actor Martin Freeman among other talented British actors. Megan not only co-wrote the track with Sarah Godden and the talented writer/ producer Vince Pizzinga, best known for his work with Delta Goodrem, but she also performs the track. “All My Days” is featured on the movie soundtrack album. In May 2006, ‘Confetti’ sky rocketed to No.2 at the UK box office. ‘Confetti’ was released in Australia on 3rd August 2006.

March 2006 saw Billabong Australia feature Megan’s track “I Won’t Let Ya”, in the broadcast of the Billabong World Junior Surf Championships. This track, co-written and performed by Megan, appeared on Fuel TV in Australia & New Zealand, and on Extreme TV in the UK.

August through to October 2006 saw Megan’s quirky pop track “Spare Parts”, co-written with TV Rock’s Ivan Gough and Grant Smillie, along with Sarah Godden, feature on the Channel 10 reality TV show ‘Girlband’.

In 2000 Megan won third place in the London International Song competition for “The L Word”, a song co-written and performed live by Megan at the legendary “Dingwalls” in Camden.

Television performances by Megan have included BBC 1 UK “Song for Europe”, Belfast’s “Kelly Show” and “Extra” on the Nine Network, Australia. She has also appeared alongside Toni Pearon as a guest lecturer for Australian children’s talent agency “Polkadotts”. Megan appeared in recent adverts for Mastercard Platinum and Freedom Furniture.

Megan is currently writing toplines for DJ Mark Dynamix with a track due out at the end of the year on Long Distance Recordings.

Hailing from Brisbane, Megan completed a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in Film and Media Production at Griffith University. She has also studied with the Queensland Film Academy, Screenwise Film & Television Acting School, Sydney, and has performed with La Boite Theatre Company, Brisbane.
