It all began in Maracay Venezuela in 1997 when Ricardo Vizcarrondo and Agustin Parra started to experiment with electronic sounds. They both had a love for hard music and they started to blend electronic music with strong guitars. Meganeura Monji was born. Although the lineup of the band has changed several times throughout the years Ricardo and Agustin have remained creating that particular sound that is Meganeura Monji.
Elektrodonata was the first single released in 1998. This single included Samadhi and Reflects. In 2001 Meganerua Monji was selected to participate in New Bands Festival in Caracas. We all Loose Something was recorded live and later released in .festival.nuevas.bandas.dosmiluno.
Things to be Proved was the second single released in 2001, it included My New World and Vanishing. The next year Meganeura Monji released its first record: A Fragment of my Mind. In 2003 Meganeura Monji began writing in Spanish and released their third single: Fugaz
Paralelo was their fourth single released in 2006 after a three year break. Their second and last album Depit was released in 2007. After this album the Jeremi Ruiz (Lead Singer), Steve Fuentes (Drummer) departed from the band .
For 2009 Meganeura Monji continues work on what will be their third album…………
