Meg Cavanaugh

When Meg Cavanaugh was a child she started writing tunes, jingles. She wrote them about elephants and stuffed animals, about God and Cartoons, she never stopped singing. As she grew up, she was mildly obsessed with Ani Difranco, and started writing SLAM poetry pieces and competing Internationally. Once she found the guitar at seventeen, however, she never put it down. She has been heavily influenced by Jazz, Americana Folk, Celtic music, and what she feels can only be described as "sexy chick rock". Now 25, she has sent herself on multiple US and UK tours, and self released 2 fulll length album. Her next full length album in in production, and she is looking to tour again ASAP, and perhaps find a home with a record label? She is energetic and her stage presence is electric.
