"Featured Artist"

The inthegroovemusic hip hop crew is BACK! … This time with MeghaMaan as their fearless leader. He partners with Impirio, Cru, and producer DLFX, infusing his own style throughout, and BAAM! An excellent new album is born: “The Maan is Back!” The tracks incorporate everything from Vintage beats, to Motown flavor, a little Rihanna Club style, and clear hip hop flow. The guest artists add nice variety–Trauma brings his warm, lyrical hip hop style while Chantel adds a little drama–some Diva ‘tude… Its some of the best hip hop there is to offer– created as art, but perfect for television: Clean. A couple writers per track. All pre-cleared through inthegroovemusic. Not bad.

This album is already gaining traction in the Music Supervision World: The attached video is a clip from ‘Kourtney & Klhoe Take Miami,’ “She Like Me” was featured on Episode 1, creating a sizable fan base– and getting MeghaMaan an exclusive interview with JProtege.

MeghaMaan’s “Up So High” will be featured on ‘Gossip Girl’ on 9/21 - inthegroovemusic.com

Bio

A craftsman in his own trade, Megha Maan (Dana Everett) keeps it real in the Hip Hop and R&B scene. With an R&B singing mother and the drummer from Parliament Funkadelic father, Megha Maan is a true born musician. He plays the keys, drums, and trumpet—not to mention mixing beats, rapping, and singing. MTV’s a fan getting music placed on Yo Mama, Pimp My Ride, Cribs, etc. And the gamers can appreciate that his beats have been used to promote Rockstar Game’s Grand Theft Auto.
