Meghan Elliott

Meghan Elliott is an American singer-songwriter.

Meghan Elliott, born and raised in the sweet southern town of Hoover, brings her own sweet poppy rock with a raw spin. Whether it’s one of her compelling originals or an awesome cover, she has the pipes to make you do a double take with her raw style and amazing range.

Growing up in a musical family, she quickly picked up the guitar and a passion for writing. Soaking up influences from her own mother and brother, to Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and Hayley Williams of Paramore she offers her own renditions of several popular tunes. After the release of her self titled debut EP, Meghan’s single “Lady, Lady” gained momentum and was requested on several area radio stations. Meghan’s catchy cover of Lady Gaga’s “Dance in the Dark” has also been craved by her eager listeners. Meghan was one of the lucky performers to grace the stage of WorkPlay at the 100.5 going away benefit.

With appearances on local TV stations and local and national radio shows, Meghan continues to push her young talent by writing and getting ready for her summer tour around the Southeast. “I believe that music and I are meant for one another. I believe the grace and almighty power of God has instilled the gift of music in me. God has blessed me with so many talents and making use of those talents is my way of telling him thank you.”

Learning from the moments that have defined her young life, Elliott has poured those experiences into her music. With profound lyrics and a voice full of distinct emotional expression, Elliott aspires to touch the lives of many with her music.

In the Spring of 2009, Elliott entered the recording studio to begin work on her first EP, which was released in November 2009.
