Bio
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, this 24yr old RnB singer has the right mix of soulful vocals and music that will move you. Coming from a bi-racial family of Aboriginal and Irish parents, Meghan uses the diversity of her family along with her passion for music to create a style that is all her own.
"I come from two rich and beautiful cultures that really have amazing styles of dance and music. I couldn't possibly turn away from my creative side, it's all around me!"
Meghan's is a sound that combines a classic RnB feel with a slight Hip Hop beat.
"I was singing a Whitney Houston song at this community talent show, and after the rehersal, I had someone come up to me and request to be put on the waiting list for my first CD!"
This is the kind of response you can expect from anyone who has had the chance to listen to Meghan sing. Whether she's singing an original piece or a cover song, you'll walk away wanting to hear more!
Meghan's sets are about half an hour long each, which combine original pieces with cover songs. Currently she is able to play for 90min (3 sets of 30 min), and is constantly increasing her repitore so that if more time is needed she will be able to comply. The covers she sings range from Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, Sarah Maclaughlin to Eva Cassidy and Jewel.
