After surviving the years with bands like Sonata Arctica, Candlemass, and sharing the stages with metal giants like Alice Cooper, DIO, Stratovarius, Rhapsody Of Fire and many others, Mehida was formed as a brainchild of keyboardist Mikko Harkin. The band comes from Scandinavia and plays melodic metal with positive message of hope and future. Guys in the band are experienced musicians from different collaborations. Some of the guys have been playing in the biggest metal events in Scandinavia and Europe like Wacken Open Air, Sweden Rock Festival and some of Finlands biggest rock festivals. Mehida's music is striking melodic metal representing powerful vocals and high level musicianship. The debut album "Blood & Water" was received with great feedback from media. The band just released their second full length album "The Eminent Storm" and are looking for collaborators from around the globe.
