ME’k A native of Detroit, Michigan was born and raised in a musical household. There were pianos, guitars, books, and sheet music throughout the house MEK could not resist. Her grandmother seen her interest and taught her how to write songs. She later learned to play the trumpet and read music. The creative soul in MEK, sprung out of her when she wrote her first song at 11 years old. Her unique style and charisma is evident in the songs that express exactly the way she feels. Her performance is like a spark of electricity; unexpected, shock of energy with a different and unusual beat that you just can’t resist dancing too.
