Bio
Melanie Mercer is a passionate singer/songwriter who has performed in most of New York City's top venues since age fifteen. Her vocal capabilities have been likened to female greats such as: Grace Slick, Pat Benatar, Stevie Nicks & Chrissie Hynde. Vocal dynamics and versatility are what make this performer stand out from the rest. Some of the eclectic projects she has fronted are: Karma, a hard hitting rock band with ska roots; Digital Daddy, an electronica group; and Imago, a pop/modern rock outfit. Melanie has also sung on commercial dance tracks for internationally based DJ's and producers.
