Mélanie Pain has been singing with Nouvelle Vague since their debut album in 2004. You can hear her soft and sensual voice on 'This is not a love song', 'Teenage Kicks', 'Killing moon', 'Ever Fallen in love', 'Dance with me'... Since the begining of Nouvelle Vague's sucess story, Mélanie has been one the main singers on stage. After hundreds of concerts, the public shows a growing interest for Miss Pain.
Now Mélanie Pain is working on her debut solo album; mixing French Pop influences with Folk and Americana.
She is inspired by Françoise Hardy, Nick Cave, Claudine Longet, Nancy Sinatra and Leonard Cohen.
