What can I say…Melinda is one artist that definitely catches the eye and hooks your ears. She gracefully takes the stage and captivates the audience with her silky smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics that display her love and passion for music.

Melinda’s roots travel back to the church. As a young girl, she traveled with her family, from city-to-city, singing at various churches. Even at a young age, she stole the hearts of many with her charming vocals, sweet smile and beautiful personality. As she grew, she became more involved in the music, participating in an album entitled, “The Birth of the Millennium,” by G.O.D. Soldiers.

At the beginning of her career, she only created hooks and sang background vocals for other artists. She then began strengthening her lyrics and vocals, became a member of BMI, and came out with her own independent album entitled, “Lord, I Love You”. Once finished, she showcased her talent at the IUMC conference where she was approached by several Entertainment Reps who showed interest in working with her.

After going through many different situations in previous relationships, Melinda began putting her feelings and emotions on paper, and began writing and producing songs that illustrated real life situations that everyone could relate to and appreciate. Her new style is Urban; she blends Neo Soul with R&B to give you a smooth, sultry sound.

Not only does Melinda produce songs that display a diary of life learned lessons, relationships, and real life situations, she also produces songs that make you dance. Her song arrangements are one of a kind. With a fun, sweet personality and a sexy, eye-catching look to match her skills, Melinda is prepared to take the music industry by storm.
