Melissa Hollick is a Twenty Year Old British Singer Songwriter who has been singing ever since she can remember. She began writing poetry at the age of eight and then is when she discovered her love for the Piano and Guitar. Since then she has been writing songs influenced by genres such as pop, jazz, and film music. Her dream is to perform on stage with a full Orchestra behind her.
Melissa has performed around many prestigious venues with the most memorable being in 2009 when she won the title, ‘West Midlands Pop star of the Year’ and had the wonderful opportunity to perform solo in front of over 5,000 people across two shows at The Symphony Hall, Birmingham. She also performed at the NEC Forum in 2008 and 2009 showcasing her Song writing talents.
In September 2012 her single ‘Listen To Me’ was released on Itunes and she has had had a lot of interest off Media companies wanting to get involved with creating her next Music Video and shooting Promotional Pictures.
Current artists she can be compared with include: Florence and The Machine, Katie Melua, Imogen Heap, Oh Land, Norah Jones and Lana Del Rey.
